Barbara Lilian, these roses (and photos) are so pretty and a delicate colour after they are dried. It's nice that you rescued them from the rain and preserved them. Have a wonderful weekend. Pamela
Good Afternoon Barbara, Oh I do love roses, especially pink ones and yours are so beautiful. They take on a totally different tone when they are dried. I have never dried roses as you have done, but I have dried the petals before. Do you remember years ago when it was all the rage to make pressed flower pictures. I remember I used to press the petals between two pieces of blotting paper, then place the blotting paper between two pieces of card board and then I placed the cardboard under the carpet.... yes it was the days before fitted carpet.... and it worked a treat. I just wanted to say, that you have left me a couple of comments on my blog just lately, but for some reason or another I have not been able to reply.... I'm not sure what's going on... as I'm not techy... any thoughts at your end. I will email you over the weekend about my 'around the corner' moment. I hope you have a lovely sunny weekend in France.... here it's getting really cold. Best Wishes as always. Daphne
I swear I posted a comment yesterday....but oh well, probably forgot to hit "post"... Anyway, your roses are lovely....so pretty. My roses are beginning to show again after hiding from all the heat...I even have a few Eden roses starting to show...which is odd for this time of year....but then again, our weather hasn't been "normal" for a couple of years. Have a great weekend.... Nancy wildoakdesigns.blogspot.com
Dear Barbara - how lovely my friend. They dried to such a soft dusty pink. Hope you are having a splendid fall. Frost has pretty much taken away all my blooms. Do have a some mums and an aster and snapdragons still blooming. Planted tulips yesterday - have a few more to put in the ground before the snow flies. Well have a blessed week friend. Hugs
Barbara, I think you have the prettiest pink roses in blog land. This type of rose is a beauty, that's for sure. Thank you for the roses today. I really liked all these pictures.
